AI Edge Gateways

Site-Level Intelligence from
Connected Products

Blaze AI Edge Gateways receive results from AI-enabled sensing products, cameras, video doorbells, and connected equipment.

The gateway performs multi-sensor fusion and creates a wider understanding of the room, zone, building, or site.

Multi-Sensor Fusion

The gateway can evaluate related events such as:

  • Presence detected by a sensing product

  • A person detected by a camera

  • A door or access event

  • Electrical activity from an appliance

  • An acoustic or alarm event

  • Environmental conditions

  • Current equipment state

It uses these combined observations to create a site-level decision.

Blaze Automation in collaboration with BITS Pilani on multi-sensor fusion for Edge AI built automation and management applications.
The work focuses on combining information from different sensors and products so that an Edge Gateway can produce a more reliable interpretation of field conditions.

Gateway Applications

Occupancy Context

Combine sensing and imaging events to determine how a room or zone is being used.

Security Verification

Correlate camera, access, door, motion, and sound events before generating a security response.
B.One Dual In-Wall

Energy Coordination

Use occupancy, appliance state, electrical information, and operating rules to coordinate connected loads.
B.One 16 Amp Smart Socket

Equipment Monitoring

Combine electrical, environmental, and operating information to identify changes in equipment behaviour.
