Build: From Prototypes to Mass Production

As an EMS provider, we offer comprehensive turnkey manufacturing solutions, including Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and the implementation of DfX techniques. Our advanced technology ensures traceability of finished products, and we utilize our extensive global network of qualified component suppliers. We are fully equipped and proficient in managing the entire process, from design to mass production, for IoT products.

DfX

We engage with our customers early in the product development cycle, positioning ourselves as a strategic partner in the manufacturing process. This means our involvement spans from the initial design stage to the manufacturing floor and beyond. By employing Design for Excellence (DfX) strategies, we strengthen our partnership with customers, enabling us to develop products that are reliable, cost-effective, and quickly brought to market.

DfX

DfA

Our engineers collaborate closely with the customer's design team to develop assembly techniques and methods in tandem with the product development cycle. We focus on ensuring that the product design is optimized for easy assembly, meeting all relevant objectives.

With a strong background in component and material engineering, Blaze excels in performing detailed analyses of the BOM to enhance product design and lifecycle. This includes removing NRND (not recommended for new design) components, managing obsolete parts, and identifying suitable replacements. We also review alternative components, address ROHS and REACH compliance for raw materials, and leverage purchasing power by consolidating common BOM items. This comprehensive service helps customers select the best components for their designs, reduces lead times, anticipates potential issues during production, lowers material costs, and accelerates time to market.

Product & Component Engineering

Component and material engineering is a crucial aspect of our process, beginning with quotations and extending through DfX, NPI, and volume manufacturing. Our team works closely with manufacturers, application engineers, design teams, and distributors, while also managing a comprehensive database for electronic commodities.

High Mix (Low to Medium Volume Manufacturing)

We utilize SAP S4 HANA tools to enhance demand management, forecasting, and inventory control for customers needing highly engineered or complex PCB assemblies in small to medium batches. Our unique approach includes dedicated manufacturing lines tailored for low to medium volume production. On the shop floor, we implement specialized processes, including continuous LEAN exercises to minimize changeover and line conversion times, manage fluctuations, cross-train operators, standardize procedures, and deploy best practices. These efforts ensure we consistently meet our customers’ requirements with improved testing and operational efficiency.

High Mix (Low to Medium Volume Manufacturing)

Low Mix (High Volume Manufacturing)

Blaze specializes in high-volume manufacturing for both PCBA and box builds for IoT products. Supported by robust backend systems including SAP S4 HANA and EDI integration with customer and vendor portals, we fine-tune our operations to meet delivery deadlines. Our approach involves early design engagement, DfX, dedicated manufacturing lines, process design, training, line balancing, real-time manufacturing data feedback, extensive testing, and one-piece flow. These practices ensure our customers receive world-class products at optimal costs.

Low Mix (High Volume Manufacturing)

New Product Introduction (NPI)

We employ a rigorous engineering approach to New Product Introduction (NPI). Following the DfX process with the customer, we implement a "Define-Review-Develop-Validate-Implement-Evaluate" methodology. By adopting efficient practices and stringent quality standards, we ensure the most effective NPI strategy is executed for our customers.
